Square Mile has been ranked within the prestigious FT 1,000: Europe’s Fastest Growing Companies, a list of 1,000 European businesses that have achieved the highest percentage revenue growth between 2016 and 2019. This follows Square Mile’s inclusion in Buzzacott´s inaugural Organic Growth 25 which recognises firms that have scaled rapidly and successfully without significant external investment.

Released on 2nd March 2021, the fifth annual FT 1,000: Europe’s Fastest Growing Companies ranks the top 1,000 firms across 33 European countries following a rigorous and complex selection process, in conjunction with research company Statista. To be eligible for inclusion, businesses were required to demonstrate a primarily organic compound annual growth rate in revenue of at least 35.5% between 2016 and 2019, with all submitted data processed and checked by Statista. The extensive research into tens of thousands of European businesses highlighted the final 1,000 companies that were successful in joining this year’s list.

This latest accolade follows confirmation in December 2020 that Square Mile had joined Buzzacott’s Organic Growth 25 (OG25), a group of 25 UK-based businesses compiled by the Buzzacott Corporate Finance team*. This team assessed 800 eligible firms spanning all industry sectors to create a shortlist of those with minimum levels revenue growth and turnover and limited equity investment, verified by a number of sources including Beauhurst, Capital IQ and Companies House. These were then screened further by Buzzacott to form the Organic Growth 25.
